Thanks to the support and gifts of VI partners around the world, a new water well is now pumping in a Burmese village.
In January 2017, VI president Curtis Baker was teaching leaders in Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. This led up to a visit to the country of Myanmar (formerly Burma).
Each time Curtis stopped to teach, he was given donations for Myanmar. Friends, this happens regularly. God’s people in other 3rd world places want to give to the work in Myanmar.
In early February, Curtis arrived in Monywa, Myanmar.
The family of Rev. Suan Kim, our Singapore partner and lead pastor, is opening a ministry center in an empty lot in a Buddhist village. What an amazing story!
God helped us to help them.
With mostly funds given to Curtis during his travels and teaching in other SE Asia nations, Visionaries was able to donate $2,500 to pay for…
- a concrete floor
- a metal roof
- an electric pole, and
- a NEW WATER WELL!
Most of this was paid for in Singapore Dollars, Malaysian Ringgit, and Thai Baht. Curtis never had a chance (nor need, really) to exchange the funds to Myanmar Kyat.
Do you see the beauty of this story?
As we give, here at home, to the work of Visionaries International, God is multiplying the hearts of those we serve. Those in 3rd world places are becoming generous givers, as well.
Your prayer support and financial gifts are building the faith of those we serve and multiplying resources.
