The Fall season of 2017 was all about being *on mission*. VI staff members traveled to both SE Asia and Central America.
We spent two outstanding weeks of ministry in Asia.
We shared in cell group meetings and Sunday services at Hallelujah International Church, Singapore. Pastor Kairos Kim is doing an outstanding job leading this growing fellowship of young professionals.
Next, we flew to Myanmar to participate in a Christian leaders conference in Mandalay. If you follow us on Facebook and Twitter, you have seen the pictures from this significant event.
Then, it was back to Yangon, Myanmar, for weekend services with Pastor Sang Pi and Hallelujah Worship Center of Yangon. The dedication and commitment at HWC are inspiring.
On to Honduras.
After returning home and a few days rest, we were off to Honduras and the HOPE School for Special Needs Students.
It is always an inspiration to observe the staff at HOPE School and see the progress students are making.
New developments at HOPE include the new wood shop for older, hearing-impaired students. These young men and women are thriving in this new program, which affords them the opportunity to build self-esteem and confidence.
Helping the helpers is what we do. Encouraging those who are doing the work of the Church…rescuing and education children…training Christian leaders…and so much more.
